What a hassle dealing with Travelocity - flight re-issue


Booked my flight, checked in on-line one day before flight - All OK so far.
Bad weather at home, could not get airport, called Travelocity to cancel trip and re-book the flight. I had purchased the cancellation policy so I assumed I would get either refund of no-charge to re-book the flight.
What a hassle 30-40 minutes with one agent, told to call the insurance company and get back with a reference #.
Called the insurance company (Berkley). Again a long phone call trying to make myself understood, finally got a number and was told I probably would NOT get a refund !!
I called travelocity back to give them the insurance ref # I had just got.
New agent at Travelocity had no idea what I was talking about, another very long phone call and was told I must contact the insurance company -I JUST DID THIS !! she could not help !!I asked then just please re-book my flight so at least I am sure I can make my trip.
This she did and I was told it would be a $180 change fee AND $30 re-booking (The air fare was just $255) !!.
I asked for a confirmation # and was told it would be the same as my first trip.
Now this new flight does not show in my Travelocity record, so I try to email customer support - WHAT A JOKE THEIR WEB SITE IS - It won't let me email them because the user I am using is already taken I AM THAT USER AND TRYING TO EMAIL YOU !!!
I am so frustrated with TRAVELOCITY that I would encourage anyone reading this not to use them.
I'll make a phone call in the morning to try and get my flight confirmed, I dread the thought of talking to them again.
