"Updating systems" during peak travel season?


Website errors when trying to view my itinerary 2 DAYS before my travel when I booked over 6 months ago. Travelocity does not have flight changes I was emailed about (even directly from Travelocity!). Current info shows original flights that were changed 3-4 times since booking. Considering this is travel season, I'm disappointed with your website and customer service reps not having the most up to date info. Again, I booked this travel package over 6 months ago and 2 days before my travel begins Travelocity does not reflect flight changes. Having to confirm my flights, hotel, and car reservations individually with United Airlines, Days Inn, and Hertz has been time consuming. I'm not even able to update my United Airlines member ID to earn points! I will not be using Travelocity to book packages in the future. This experience 2 days before my trip has been frustrating and has lost my confidence in competence with your company. After sending feedback, I was contacted by Travelocity (again via email) to call back a different number for further assistance and was provided a case ID#. OVER AND HOUR on the phone with a rep and a supervisor to only be told "we're updating our systems." What was the point of sending me a case ID# for further assistance IF THERE WAS NONE TO GIVE. What and incredible, frustrating waste of time. WILL NEVER BOOK A PACKAGE WITH THEM AGAIN. Poor technology processes on their part.
