travelocity sucks!!!!


these guys absolutely suck!!! i made reservations to a hotel and received the email confirmation and everything. so i started my trip and drove for 2 1/2 hours. i then arrived at the hotel at 9:30 p.m. and went to check in. i was then told by the hotel staff that my reservation was cancelled by travelocity at 4:30 p.m. i then called them and asked them whats going on with my reservation? then said that it was cancelled by their fraud protection department. i was like what for? and they replied that my bank wouldnt give them my info, but they already took the money out of my bank. i then contacted my bank and they said, that they authorized the transaction. to make a long story short, i talked to atleast 10 people in travelocity customer service and management and also their fraud protection for atleast 4 hours. each came up with a different lie why my transaction didnt go thru. i then asked them why didnt they contact me to say that they cancelled my reservation. they could not answer. so i asked them to find me reservations at the beach and they wanted me to make them myself and offered no help and then asked for more money and said that i had to pay what the hotel was charging for the nights i was going to stay. i told them that i wasnt going to pay for anything because they already had my money. then they said they couldnt do anything for me, not even return my money to my account. i told them that i spent atleast #100 in gas to go back and forth home. they said that they couldnt do anything but after 2 hours offered me $50 off my next minimum of 2 night stay. to this day i havent seen my money but they promised it should be here within the week. i then contacted the executive office in texas, the lady looked at my reservation notes and basically said the same lies. i then asked why didnt they contact me concerning the reservation: she said that they had sent an email and that it said that i had an invalid email address. i said i dont know why; because you sent my reservation confirmation email there! I could then hear a rat piss on cotton because it got so silent!! caught in another lie.
