I have Reserved a flight with insurance to fly on 29th march 2013 and unfortunately i was unable to travel a 10 hours flight with sickness and i decided to call travelocity agent and cancel that ticket further on my request my call was forwardd to a supervisor and after have a conversation i asked him to cancel the ticket and give me the confirmation number for cancelation number but he end up saying that the trip is been cancelled and ther is no cancellation number as i can use confirmation number to rebook the ticket for credited amount also he informed me that i need to pay 150$ extra for change of fare. after that i have called couple of customer service agents and found to be different information from each agent and finally with all effort i was told that the ticket is not been cancalled its been suspended and they agreed that its was supervisor's fault for not cancelling the ticket on time. i was told that i can reschedule the ticket with the same airlines by paying 150$ and when i told my dates of travel they put me on hold for 40 min and finally supervisor cam back saying that ticket is been suspended and cannot to rebooked i will be losing the whole amount of 555.60$ and i have requestd to put me to the higher authority who is supposed to be a manager after haven told him all the case details he offered me two options one is travelocity can go ahead and book the new ticket because its their error of not cancelling, second option was to refund the amount back to my card. so i choose to book a ticket with the help of him he made a total of 489$ ticket which i can see 360$ online the same dates in travelocity website and i asked him abt that but he ended up in saying that the website has discounts and he dosen't have discounts with him if i book ticket on phone. finally i asked him to refund me the whole amount and he refused by saying that i have to pay a panality of 150$ out of 555.60$ so that i will be refunded with 405.51$ when i aswked him about that he was trying to cover up saying its a airline change fee but how come i canged the airline instead he made a brand new reservation. can any airline charges for suspended ticket who wants to book a fresh new ticket ? he was soo rude the was he was talking that trying to coverup his mistakes saying that if he would lie about whole thing how would i know about this mess, that was his attitude and way of behaving towards the customers. i have more to say someone can call me i would like to explain with all proofs in detail.
