Book 7 days package only 5 night hotel


We use other booking company for years flawless, get Travelocity coupon. first booking 7 days package trip, after booking, recheck only 5 days hotel, call back Travelocity never said their fault (may be we not read, but we never read with other booking company when we book whole package, our fault may be).
Now they want add $425 more for one additional night or receive $1096 back to cancel hotel, we call the hotel direct to book one more night for $235.
Honest mistake is ok to us (who not make it), we do not read well, their system flaw, but double charge hotel cost is the reason to intentional left out the night? Luckily we did not ruin our trip by re read the booking today (not in June-2015). If not may be nightmare in Grand Cayman.
